ABOUT

I went to art school in my thirties and graduated from Academy of Art University with a BA in Illustration. After graduation I ended up in apartment maintenance and renovations to help pay the bills, as I’m sure most people can relate. But much more recently I got my first little studio in downtown Colorado Springs in 2023 and have been painting much more. I love to paint a variety of things, usually they have people or animals involved on the canvas. I am drawn to bold colors and strong lighting and dynamic composition which is why I have a love for painting scenes from movies.
